With my knowledge of color, shapes & composition—from my day job as a graphic designer—I mix the coolest new and vintage beads, charms and baubles I can find into one-of-a-kind creations...or “wearable art” as one customer remarked. Most of my jewelry is one-of-a-kind and are sold as pictured. Others are patterns—or “ideas” might be a better word—designed to be used as a spring board for your custom jewelry project. As
I enter my 42nd year—and also
a dreaded mid-life crisis—I
have decided to turn my love of creating jewelry into more than just
a hobby. I have always loved jewelry—when I was a young girl,
my Aunt Phyllis gave me a box full of old costume jewelry. I was
fascinated with it. I would play for hours. There were rhinestones,
pearls and
even
dangly basket earrings loaded with miniature fruit! I wore alot of
that jewelry throughout the years—adding other vintage pieces
to my collection along the way. I always wanted jewelry that was
different—something
noone else had. I began creating custom jewelry to match my clothes
with pieces and parts of vintage and new jewelry. People started
asking me
where I found such cool jewelry!
